Patagonia region, flew from Buenos Aires to Rio Gallegos, remember quite long, 4-5 hours flight? took a bus 4 hours from Rio Gallegos to El Calafate, the base for visiting famous Puerto Moreno Glacier. The view along the road is impressive,remembered me of Tibet...strange? The small town of El Calafate is easy to explore, some nice small shops, resturants.etc. The Glacier is enomorus, this was my first time to see a glacier from close. It was shocking to hear and see the cracking of the iceberg, because of the melting under the sunshine and to see then a huge iceberg sliding into the water. That day was very windy and I saw many iceberg in the water, bigs and smalls. Regret that not carrying on to visit Tierra del Fuego(the land of the fire), it was close from Patagonia!
