  LA CASA DE NERUDA, ISLA NEGRA

Chile had 2 Nobel Prize Winners both in Literature , the 2nd was Pablo Neruda(聂鲁达), died in 1973 and he won the price in 1971, as the Nobel prize amount was about 1million USD at that time, so it was quite a lot of money. He was a poet, and he was a communist as well. I don’t  know a lot about the history background, while I like this guy, after visiting his home at Black Island ---now as his personal museum---and I understand why such a guy could be a great poet: sensitive & creative, full of imagination and love everything…

Basically his favorite was sea, the view from this house is outstanding, I can’t describe so much by words just show the picture, of course the picture is too limited, the eyes can see much more widely:

Then his collection was the sculpture decorated on the head of the big ship and such ship model inside the bottles, do you know how to put the ship model inside the bottle? It’s amazing that actually the ship model was made outside and folded , after enter the bottle mouth pull the thread and it was totally opened inside---like magic.

It was not allowed to take photo inside the house so I bought some card in their shop, and the back of card print the map, showed its position: near Santiago, it cost us around 2 hours to arrive there from Santiago. Santiago is at the center of Chile, Chile is the skirt edge of South America.
